Why would a company use this. I have a few ideas but check out picture. This can be used IM or IV. Surfactants are used for few IM inj pharma but antimicrobial preservatives are not recommended for intravenous (IV) suspensions. So with out looking glutamine up I would guess insoluble in water. I will look up later.

It is, but not one I would want to IV. I still haven't look up solubility yet to see if it is used for suspension
I was incorrect.
It is soluble enough for 30mg/ml
I guess I should do more digging.
Next step pull a list of pharma drugs that contain it. 2. Eval reaction if any with BA:BAC. I know the max FDA recommends is super low.
Preparation Instructions
This product is soluble in 1 M HCl (50 mg/ml), yielding a clear, colorless solution. The solubility in water
(25 °C) has been reported at 36 mg/ml.
1. Storage/Stability A study of glutamine in Basal Medium Eagle with
Earle's salts indicated that glutamine was most stable in medium stored at 4 °C and at neutral pH. Loss of glutamine accelerates at temperatures above 4 °C, such as room temperature and 35 °C. Glutamine was found to deteriorate at acidic and basic pH at similar rates. Further information on stability studies of glutamine is solution is available in a bulletin under Product No. G 7513 (200 mM L-glutamine solution
