I'm 36 years old, and I've been lifting for a solid 15 years. Never competed, but I was a trainer for years and really enjoyed it. Just went through a tough divorce and custody battle that caused me become pretty depressed. In that depression and stress, I lost all motivation and energy for training. stopped lifting, eating properly, and in only 6 months, I lost a lot of progress. I am a firm believer in the benefits of muscle memory and "existing foundation", so I am looking forward to getting back in shape, being healthy, and having a supportive community again. I'm starting a journal on here and look forward to sharing and receiving advice and motivation from all of you!

Glad you made it through the divorce. I’ve been through 2 of them & suffer PTSD from the second. She was scary, bat shit crazy & im being serious.
Good luck to you in reaching your goals!

Been down that road once. Get back on the grind, take your time to prevent injuries. Remember, discipline is greater than motivation. Welcome to the DEN
