I cant imagine many of those so called successes have really made all that much cash either... Next time you see a money making program advertised, google the seller and research their true wealth... Betting it isnt much...

Ive never bought into any of it, I rarely even gamble much when Im in Vegas or other casino area... I went to college and got a decent job and thats enough for me...

Im too much of a cynic and too negative to think that getting rich quick could ever work for me.

I've had a few ppl pitch me these get rich quick ideas. However they make the mistake of doing it at the bar after I've had more than a few drinks and the only thing I am thinking is "will you shut the fuck up so I can listen to music". Even better when it's opera because I can completely ignore everything they say.

Slic.

I haven't been sucked into anything but I really have an itch to do something. I recently attempted to buy out the majority owner of our business but the timing wasn't right for him.

I have some money and am open to ideas.

invest it in some good solid stock! or if you want to risk it, dont risk more than you can afford to lose!

if get rich schemes really worked than everybody would be rich! save your money!

I have spent a lot of money over the years on books, tapes, cd's and memberships trying to find better and faster ways to make money. Also residual income has always intrigued me, things like ambit energy, amway and quickstar are some of the idea's I have tried. Im currently putting together a real estate investment plan using Dean Graziosi's latest book.

Have you ever been sucked into one of these money making, get rich quick plans?

10 houses in 10 years and you are retired. Was taught to us YEARS ago by an old man, works. PM for details.

I'm not looking for a passive investment. While I'm a small owner of our business, it is EXTREMELY frustrating having to live with the stupid spending decisions especially since I'm also the CFO.

you can always go out on your own. :) i love being a business owner and a solo one at that! too hard to find good partners that are like minded. if you have the extra cash, sell out your part and move and start your own business!

ATW, the challenge without having a business partner is how exactly to you exit the business? For example, for most service related businesses, the real value of the company is the net present value of future cash flows. If you have no one to take over the business once you're ready to leave, there are no future cash flows, and the business really isn't worth anything. It's a shame to simply walk away from a business that you've created and run for so many years. Besides, is many cases you have employees that are counting on you. Simply retiring means they're all out of a job....

this is true. luckily for me, veterinary practices tend to have good sale value. often one can sell to an existing veterinary employee. so if i intended to retire in 5 years i could do a gradual buy out so that they start the buying process and are in a position to take over when i leave. it is better than a business that is all blue sky. businesses that are based on the owners ability or skill, yes those are hard to sell!

Doesn't the new get rich quick scheme have something to do with having a giant ass that is prominently displayed in a sex tape that eventually gets you your own "reality" TV series??? Seems like a scheme to me.
