Went through old stuff and come across this gem.
For those that know Corey Everson, she was the shit back in the day.

'92 I was 6 cycles deep right outta of Tijuana. The early days before the mega "Veterinarian" days were good too! The look was better as well. I mean hats off to the SUPERMOTHERFUCKERS of today, but man I get stressed just looking at guys like Ronny in his prime.... I dont know how they did it to be honest.

The Corey Everson look is what my wife worked for. She won the nationals and got her pro card about then the sport started changing a little. After coming to the USA things had already started to get out of hand. My wife gave up competition because she wanted to look feminine and just wasn't wiling to do what it took to move on. Another Argentine female BB that came to the USA after my wife did was Maria Calo. Calo could never could beat my wife and when my wife move on to the USA Calo stepped up. Calo was willing to take it to the next level, her choice in life.

Those magazines bring back a lot of memories. I haven’t picked one up in over 15 years, but it was seeing Barry Demay and Kathy Strangle on the cover in 89 that got me interested in exercise.

I would say I owe Joe Weider a lot, but I think him and I are even based on all the $$ I spent on buying every supplement those mags advertised;-)

I still remember Jeff Everson and planet muscle.
I think they also had or have Beverly nutrition?
Great tasting protein powder just expensive.

Wow, I recall her. My uncle was a BB at that time (late 80s/early 90s) and knew Vinnie Commerford from the days of Beauvais gym in Tempe (bless his soul). By the time I was at Beauvais, was '97, and was shortly changed to Powerhouse where I recall working out alongside a young Dusty Henshaw.
