Izzy washed. He looked good for a min. I dont understand his game plan. He was winning the round. Moving and using the calf kick. He always goes in for the kill when he smells blood and gets caught. You figured he would have learned his lesson. That Barber fight was crazy. Didnt look good the way she went out. Lerryan Douglas is a beast. That stiff jab was crazy.
I think some of those strikes Izzy threw would have hurt many fighters. Joe is just really tough and Izzy is 36 year old. I think he beats anyone out of the top 5. But those guys at the top are animals. Khazmat is king, DDP, Strickland, Imovov are all guys who can beat Izzy. Let him fight Hernandez of Borralho. Both good fights for Pyfer too. Izzy normally can get up but Joe is so much stronger. Great fight.
Alexa jumping on that choke as Maycee fell was crazy fast. Maycee was a step behind as long as it lasted Grasso has really great striking.
Chiesa vs Price was a set up for Chiesa. Price always struggled vs grapplers.
Douglas is a monster, he hits hard. Erosa is a gatekeeper and really good but Douglas made him look like an ammy.
Yousri vs MAM was similar in the fat that Yousri outclassed MAM the whole fight.
T Mc finished Nelson SO FAST! Tweets were saying he should have taken a few to try to get back up. Easy to say for someone who has never been there with someone who hits hard. And T Mc hit HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I added Tofiq vs Ignacio because the fight totally changed after Tofiq who was on his way to getting finished, grabbed the cage with both hands in an extremely blatant foul. He then got Ignacio down and headbutted him. The shitty ref saw neither. they did fight like devils in there. Ignacio never complained but I feel the fight would have ended in his favor had the fouls not happened. They got FOTN so $75 grand helps.
Lost some respect of Joe when he blurted out he "almost took his own life two weeks ago".
OH yeah, Demetrious Johnson was inducted into the hall of fame. much deserved as he is in the top choices for all time GOAT.
