SAD, The way you’d like this place to be free of all of what politics is about, is the same way many if not most all of us would like to see the end of politicians and gov’t in our lives.

You’re right mostly. But at some point, the constructiveness of the insults dies and it becomes a team of like minded trolls, no offense. I think we’re there. The last 3-4 pages have devolved from an already low point.

Back to the Russian / Ukrainian conflict. William Spaniel just posted a great piece about this ceasefire being nothing but a chance for both sides to retrench. It is a cynical ruse to build back their trenches, resupply their systems, etc.

Well, that is the main theory in his game theoretic perspective.

I saw that about two weeks back or so. Personally, I think with the reality of all the ways the US / collective West started, and fueled this war - Russia ought to press on with increased force and finish all of its original and (newer evolved / developed revelations) militarily .

I can relate, BUT would hate to see it come to that. I’m not sure exactly who would initiate things to that level.
