Forced to skip yesterday and move it to today...way too much alcohol Sunday night...holy hell, I feel old, barely being able to recover from a hangover within 24hrs...happy with the 330 bench, especially with how hard 325 was before it, and considering 330 was a TnG PR not too long ago..Squat was supposed to be a 3x5, but the weight felt like it was flying, so decided to go for 405, which I think moved better than expected...lower back was pretty taxed heading into Sumo...set up a bit wider than usual, thinking it would help my lower back...didn't like it at all...so used to shins slightly inside rings...

Hangovers last me two days minimum now. The trick I've been using is to chug mad water before bed, have ibuprofen before bed, bring some upstairs on the nightstand, and every time I take a piss throughout the night I drink a glass or two of water and take more ibuprofen when I fully wake up. Eating a healthy breakfast is also crucial - not this greasy McD's bullshit.

Oh, and I have Vagasil on hand at all times.

My dude... You're getting strong. Looked at June's workouts and you're killing shit.

and I hear you on the IBs and healthy food...just miss the days where I could just wake up the day after, and down a couple slices of cold pizza with a cup a coffee and be ready for another night of mayhem...

I knew going into the session there was a good chance I wouldn't make it, being only a day of rest between my max bench session, and somewhat heavy other lifts...

also after 2 weeks vacation and as close to a normal sleep pattern as it gets, to having to work graveyard shift, and having my body readjust to trying to sleep during the day = no bueno...plan was 2ct Bench 275 x 3 x 2, 2ct Pause Squat 335 x 3 x 2, and 2" Def Convt 405 x 3 x 2...tendonitis was on fire...body was just too beat up...should have planned a deload...

Long story short, since waking up on Tuesday @ 8am, I've gotten exactly 13.5 hrs of sleep up until now...by the time I reached Front Squats, my body said no, and my stubborn ass said fuck it....had to floss and roll biceps after Presses, pain was worse than expected, after wrenching on the Pontiac yesterday...reps weren't the deepest or prettiest, they were rushed more than anything, and stamina was shot to hell, but at least I hit the targeted 8 minimum @ 230...time to shower, grub, pop a couple IB pms, and hopefully catch a minimum of 6 hrs of shut eye...tonight's my Friday...

yeaman...going 3 years strong working midnight to 8am, with Mon/Tues as my days off...doesn't always make sessions easy, but was one of the main reasons I decided to invest money in a weight area in the basement...
