Thought I would start a log based on my current routine The "Big" Texas Method a.k.a. The Cowboy Method...tweaked the routine a bit, and decided to bench 2x a week and keep Pressing to just 1x instead of alternating the two...just finished 2 cycles of the 8/6/3 version of 5/3/1...
Wanting to compete at 198, currently at 199BW with a 2016 goal of totaling 1,500lbs... (only 18 months into PL'ing)
Warning used a lot of percentages...I know a lot of people hate em, lol...

Squat (started light like suggested, 60% of 90% of 5RM)
Warmed up to 10 Tops Sets of 250 for 5 reps (easier than expected, although with only 60 secs between sets, I was sucking air pretty good for the last 3 sets)
Bench (keeping it light since this cycle is more for Squat progress)
Warmed up to 85% of 90% of 5RM
3 sets of 250 for 5 reps
Deadlift
45% of 1RM
8 singles of 225 (somewhat cluster style, 5 breaths between singles)
12/19/15
Front squats (based on 90% of 1RM...starting at 55% with 5% jumps up to 75%, all single sets of 5 reps)
165 x 5
180 x 5
195 x 5
210 x 5
225 x 5
Press (Seated because basement ceiling is too low...all weights are cleaned from floor before sitting)
Warmed up to Top Sets of 135, 3 sets for 5 reps...
Finished off with 3 10 rep sets of ab rollers....
