I should be good going forward. I never set an expectation with the guys that I am not perfect although by all appearances I am. They get it now.

Shitlord yesterday. At a conference away from home in a city with killer food. Ate like a total asshole. Drank 8 beers.

Woke up super vascular. Ab veins. Quad separation. Dialing up the carbs going forward fo sho. I feel awesome today. Wish I could train!!!

Bench was for 15 x 2 today. Was feeling full and arrogant as fuck...
340 x 6 x 2
That was waaay too much. Hit a 9 at set 6. Just wasn't focused enough for this today
245 amrap hit 15 or 20 reps not sure.

High bar paused squat
385 for 5 triples

Arms. Blasted arms and it was amazing.

Yesterday was squat Sunday of course... fucked up day. Was hot as hell and humidity like I have almost never felt. None of us could catch our breath because of it. Got something done at least...

SSB squats - forgot my chucks so wore the ristos.
Worked up in 5's to 425. Funny thing was I dropped into the whole on the first work set and just sat there. Wasn't even willing to try and get back up.
Took another stab at it and only got 3... seriously 4 plates is suddenly a thing for me. That's a bad day

Then did an amrap with 3 plates and barely got 6... the speed was ok but I just couldn't breathe and almost passed out.

Then block pulled 605 for a single and wanted to die.

Spent the afternoon in the pool stuffing face and had a vintage 1990 Rocky Patel that I can honestly say was the best cigar I have ever enjoyed.

I have never actually used my pecs to bench until a couple months ago. Holy shit they were toast from Wednesdays work still. I had a mind blowing pump in my chest for some reason. Like I could have put a walnut between them and crushed it.

Turned low expectations into a good squat day today!

Comp squat
Worked up to 415 for 5x5 and they were all flawless reps. Finished @7 or so. But of an undershot but I am proud to have completely transformed my squat. Now it's time to put weight on the bar!

Back pump was horrendous after it tho so quit there lol

Good to see that squat man and I'm glad it felt good for you. Looks like I've been missing out on a lot in here. Gonna try to be around here and there on here when I can.

Ahhhhhh, you need to learn to hundo @PillarofBalance. That was 425 on the bar. You might have been good with 435-440, but since it took a half hour to loosen big daddy adductor, I was very happy with the day. This peak is going to be fun!!!!
