Feeling good. After a short plateau, I lost 6 lbs the past two weeks, most of it this week. I have two more weeks of Muay Thai bootcamp, then I'm on my own for my summer workouts. Since I'm teaching karate now, I am not getting much aerobics there, unless we have an odd number of students and I get to fill in. So I'm going to have to come up with some workouts at home.

I am thinking of doing sprints, and riding my mountain bike (we have a large trail system near my house) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings through the summer. But the blackflies are crazy bad as soon as it gets warm. I guess I'll just have to pedal faster than the flies!

Flies are a eral pain when you are biking aye? I hear you.

Good job with the weight loss, 6lb is a really solid drop. Noticeable too I'd bet?

50 minute workout. Had some gas left in the tank, but my legs are like jello, so it was a great workout!

So I reached my 100th post, and now I am a senior member (maybe a coincidence because I updated my personal information at the same time). WTF is a "Senior Member"??? Makes me feel like an old fart!

Teaching karate tomorrow, blackbelt class and a makeup class for the regular infantry. My better half comes back from Boston tomorrow, and then we'll go to camp either Saturday night or Sunday morning, and spend the day relaxing, throwing the stick and ball into the pond for the dogs, throwing wood on our campfire (smoke from the campfire keeps the black flies away), playing scrabbble, etc.

You have anything planned, satchmo?

Yeah, I see some of the veterans griping about newbies posting just to increase their post count, but I don't think I do that. Every post of mine, I try to make it count, and a natural part of my conversation. Sometimes, I hold off on posting because I don't want to run my mouth too much and make people tired of me . . . So I don't think they're griping about me. And if they are, (for those who read this) they should say so.

By the way, your food pics lately have looked downright scrumptious!

Feeling strong and like I have good wind on these. Functional strength is definitely improving and much better than 1 year ago.
