I don't go totally zero carbs, just can't function on zero carbs. I drop to under 100gms on the saturday week before and stay there until wednesday and start carbing up on thursday with 300-400gms all the way through show. This show I will start a day early because I'll be competing on Friday instead of saturday. I have almost always done weigh in the night before the show and then go out and eat a high carb crap meal. Next morning I'm full as hell and vascular like a mofo. Last year I didn't do that because it was my first national show and I mind f*cked myself so I ate clean the night before and was flat as hell for the show, I still placed 5th but think I could have placed higher if I did what I knew worked for me in the past. That's why I say this game is a learning process.
Thanks to both for the superdrol advice. I've never done it before so that is why I was thinking I might skip it. I'm close to where I need to be and would hate to blow it doing something new.
