I feel your pain brother. I got into this sport in 1991 due to a L4L5S1 hernated disc. Doc told me you need to get in shape because you are to young to get cut on. So, like you it has been a struggle for sure. I have done all I can do really., I will say for back you dont have to dead lift off the floor. Focus on rack pulls. With alot of focus in the pull and squeeze in the full back and glutes. Keep the reps up so you dont go heavier to the point of losing that focus on the squeeze.


Thanks for the tips POB. Legs are a problem because of my back. L4 and L5 are pretty much gone (degenerated) and squats just put to me in to much pain so I have to stay away from the most productive exercises for legs. It sucks but I'll keep hitting leg presses and walking lunges and whatever else I cam manage.
