As some of you know from my training log, the deadlift is my favorite lift. So I created this thread for the purpose of posting videos of my deadlifts, either from training or competitions.

As you'll see, I'm pretty fast off the floor so it looks like the weight is easy for me, but the last 1-2" is always a bit of a challenge.

I compete in the 56kg/123lb weight class, submaster and open.

This video here was from my meet last weekend. I went 3/3, and this lift below is my final one at 429.9lbs.

Damn, baby, that is some skilled pulling.
You are INCREDIBLE for your body weight.....but you knew that. Someday soon everyone else will, too.

Had a solid day day of deadlifting yesterday. I pulled five sets of 365x5 and it felt like I had another set or two in me. I've always been pretty fast off the floor even as I fatigue, but I think I hit an extra gear on some of my reps. At my last meet, I pulled 430 so this would be 85%. The most I've ever pulled was 450, but did not truly lock it out. And even at this weight would be 81%.

I'm hoping to get 450+ with a solid/convincing lockout in 2016 in the 123lb/56kg weight class. I've been programming with PillarofBalance since November. He's going to program/coach me up until my next meet in April (AAPF Nationals in Idaho).

Here's the fourth of five sets.

If I wasn't so ugly, I would post my meet pulls....not my meat pulls, get it.

All I got is a trophy for first place in sub-master and a 570 pull.

415x3 (@ ~126-127 bodyweight)

I think this is a 3-rep PR for me. It's definite progress in two ways (I'm keeping better form at 400+ weight when I'm doing multiple reps, and my grip strength isn't giving out prematurely).

I don't even think that was a 9 to be honest. You have a lot in the tank.

Thinking we should schedule some max effort for january. A 3rm and a 1rm. That will tide you over till April
