came across this twist on the regular protein pancakes:

Ingredients:

½ cup of oat flour

3 egg whites

2 scoop protein powder

1 tsp stevia

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp vanilla

2 3.5oz containers of organic apple baby food.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly until a smooth texture is obtained. If it is still a little dry add one more egg white. Once pan is heated I use a 1/3 rd cup measuring cup to make sure all the pancakes are the same size. Cook until most bubbles are gone or the other side is a nice light brown color, flip over and cook for about 45 seconds -1 minute more. Recipe makes 4-6 pancakes.

I wonder if I can use oats instead of oat flour?

Yes I make these with oats not oat flour. Also use a shaker not a bowl makes life so much easier. Plus if you shake up the egg whites first the airator/mixing thingy gets the whites all thick so the pancakes are a better consistency. Just remember to shake before you pour for each pancake or all the oats will be in the last pancake.

I sometimes half the amount of oats and add in 100g of blue berries. Chuck some on just before flipping the pancake. Defuckinglish!!!!

Not tried these with the apple sauce in before. Will have to give that a try.

Thanks for that, will give them a run and see how they compare to the ones I make. Here's how I do mine:

INGREDIENTS

* 6 x egg whites
* 50-100g oats
* 1 x banana
* 1-2 x scoops protein powder

COOKING

Mix all of the ingredients together. Pour into a non-stick pan with a little oil if needed and cook on a very low heat with the pan covered.

Cook for around 5 minutes, make sure you flip over when it starts to bubble on top.

Either eat it there and then or leave overnight in fridge and toast the following day (or it's pretty good cold as well).
