Eagles give Vick 1 year, estimated $20M

Michael Vick has signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Pro Bowl quarterback was designated as the team’s franchise player Feb. 15. He signed the franchise tender Wednesday.

Is he worth 20 mil?

Pay for athletes is through the roof. Pay them all less and the game will be more entertaining. This is why I like college ball better, the kids play with heart!

Same here...maybe they don't trust him fully yet to sign him to a 3 yr contract

I think they are alittle scared that he was just a fluke last year. He came out the gates on fire, but if you look at his last 4 games, he was shut down when teams learned how to blitz him again. He is still one hell of an athlete though. He just has to learn to slide and not take those hard hits to his shoulders. He was out when the team really needed him.
