medco covers my hrt. if you got a script for all that, turn it in through thier mail order. they are all controlled substances, so local pharms only have limited stock usually. Plus its cheaper to do the medco mail order and get 90 day supply than to get 21 day at pharm.

My family doc writes me my script for my hrt. I dont go to a hrt clinic. Therefore my medical coverage covers it all but my co pay. I pay $20 for 90 supply. I never dealt with medco on that way. Not sure if they would cover it or not. I have a co worker that went ot a hrt clinic and if im not mistaken he did not get re-embursed for anything.

HRT clinics are usually pay as you go. My doc writes me a script, off to the pharmacy i go and for $10 I get my bottle of test. I use medco as well, the insurance required a pre-authorization before filling it though. It may be a stretch to get the deca covered since I don't think its medical use is for joints.

Medco is a pain in the ass for covering hrt scripts, especially the test. If your levels go over 1000, they wont cover it. Then every year your hrt doctor has to write a letter of necessity back to medco, saying you need the test. That was my experience with them. Im actually sick and tired of their shit.. They cover what they want to cover. They wont cover my allergy meds anymore, because I can get them over the counter. And today the cocksuckers wouldnt cover my viagra script. Wanted me to pay $126 for 6 pills, yet last month it was only $31. Im gonna give them an earful tomorrow..

Ins is a royal pain in the ass. Even when it comes to doctors there now arguing about reimbursing them. Thus alot of docs are now turning to cash business cause there going under from not getting paid or waiting forever to be funded.

Its allot easier to get what you need elsewhere than going through the pharm. When I first got my script filled at my local pharm they only had 1ml vial and wanted me to come back every week for a vial. Then ran out and was out for two weeks. Then the pharm screwed up my dose..... Allot easier to get by other methods....

alot of people have carrears they have to worry about so must go through a doc. the benefit is getting your meds from a pharm that is reputable, you should always know what your getting. It just takes some time to get find the right doc who can put you on a program where you dont have to go see him for a shot weekly cause that is un realistic. Alot of people travel the world so they need to take there meds with them. Yes, you will pay more but its not coming from a website in china. The peace of mind is worth it to those when budget is not an issue. I used to go for the cheapest brand ug when i first started and let me tell you, you get what you pay for 9x outta 10 lol
