I've had an account for a while, but since procrastination is my 'thing', it has taken me a while to start using it.

Is there any way to turn the Shoutbox thing off? It sucks up a lot of screen space, and it's very loud.

toggle visibility is a button on it.

Yes, hit the " - " icon (minus sign) that's next to the arrow.
