It's an good read, however, I'm a tad bit concerned with, "KS Mccully having a US patent for a homocysteine-lowering protocol".... He is one of the author's of THE read....

Even tho Homocysteine (amino-acid) at high levels is supposedly to have been shown to be an culprit in CVS, the article itself pointed out that TC could be an back-seat driver to CVS, due to it being involved in the production of epinephrine and norepinephrine , which is attributed to CVS/Atherosclerosis due to stress....Just an quick overview of article....

It looks like it's trying to get rid of statins, and replace with KS Mccullys' idea?....Again, just a quick observation!....

A cel Keys, and Proctor & Gamble are the early culprits that garnered PR against the cholesterol (specifically, saturated fat) and CVD myth.
Here’s an entertaining read, and not too long: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/256155/

Many great sources available on this topic, but Ivor Cummins research and interviews with countless experts / specialists in their respective fields is of great value:
