Buying Tickets to sporting events ?

Looking to buy NFL tix. I went on Ticketmaster.com and saw there was a $90 fee to purchase tix.


In the past, tix were given to me, so this is a first of having to buy. Just wondering is there some other source to buy tix.


Also, the website said no tix available.....but to click on a link to buy resale tix. what is this about ...wholesalers are buying and then reselling on the website.?

I've pretty much used Ticketmaster but you can try finding them on Ebay.

For NFL use stubhub or NFL site ticket exchange. They are verified so you know your not getting fakes.

I've gotten some great deals using stubhub and never had any issues with them.

That's usually how ticket sales work. Wholesalers snatch up swaths of seats for re-sale. Stubhub or ticketmaster and a few others are your best bet or if you can verify a season ticket holder on craigslist. Scalpers , if you know them but the fakes have gotten so good now it's a serious gamble .
