    outbacks is simple you know what to expect and its priced decent, salad is real good also... keep in mind i use the drive up stall for outbacks also so its deff not fine dinning i just happen to like the way they cook a NY steak.... imo roadhouse is decent also but for the price there are a few other local places id rather spend the money on that make a very nice steak, it might even cost a bit more than RH but if going to spend i mine as well spend lol....

    Yeah, Longhorn is good. It is a nicer place than Texas and Outback imo.

    Re: Outback Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse?

    If I wanted longhorn I would spend a few extra bucks and go to Gibson in Chicago or a nicer small restaurant by me.

    Yes, I think Longhorn beats Roadhouse and Outback hands down.

    Around here we only have Outback and Longhorn. Both are ok but for the money Outback is better.

    I wasn't really impressed with Texas Roadhouse. Outback is okay but I never eat there.

    Brother Paarke I did not recognize your post at first because there were no pictures of ugly women in it. But to answer your question, I would hit either of them, lol.

    I rarely eat at either, and when I do it's usually because others I'm meeting for one thing or another have decided to eat there. I do hit up the bar at both once in a while, and usually end up eating elsewhere.

    I do like TR's ribs and burgers though. As for steaks, I usually go to the casino steak house or one of a couple of other locally owned steakhouses.

    I tend to hit up the bar at our O'Charlie's semi-regularly, mainly because it's a short distance from the casino on my way over there, and I have some friends who hang out there for happy hour.

    We also have a Logan's Roadhouse here as well. Very good burgers and rolls, and the filet is pretty good. The manager told me they actually cut their own steaks on the premises. But Logan's and Outback are both across town from me and in an area that's not the best part of town

    I really can't stomach either of them there's a few places near me in the same price range that actually deliver a decent steak. If I had to choose though I guess Roadhouse because Outback is without a doubt the worst steak house I've ever eaten at.

    Atmosphere = Texas Roadhouse

    Food = Outback

    Food is more important than atmosphere to me, being that I am a meat head.
