What Are Your Plans For Thanksgiving?

I heard about that but I fry the turkey.
Never cooked a turkey in the oven after I started to fry them.

One year we did an oven baked and a fried one.

I think they both are tasty depending on what you are in the mood for.

Anyone cook their Turkey breast down? I heard it allows for the breast to stay moist being the juice flows down the breast.

That sounds bad but you know what I mean

Yes, this is the correct way to cook, since the dark meat takes longer to cook and should be a higher temp than the white meat.

Make sure you rub and play with them a bit, will be extra juicy.

Have the entire extended family over. First half of the day is all the preparations, and the second half of the day is the eating and clean-up. A crazy long day and a lot of work, but I wouldn't want it any other way. As my kids have grown up, there aren't too many days that I have them all back together.

Yep. And they're getting close to opening up the other one that is being built. The roads around there are a mess though - they're also building an overpass, etc.
