GVT ain't for the weak! Killing it bro. Gainnnnns!

Did an experiment on shoulder day last week and did heavy seated military presses for two or three reps. It was like baby weight. went up to 200 which I have never done.

I like your quote IS : I would be one lost soul without the iron. Makes me think. I have been at this a while...18 years non stop. A week off here and there but thats it. same with diet. I was insane with the desire for a freak body. I live, eat and breathe this

It's people like you at the gym that make my workouts better. I feed off of lifters who just live, eat, and breathe the kind of intense lifting you do. Incredible. 200 military press is awesome.

Arm Day. I added arms recently and gave them their own day. Had done them after back or chest. But even still what Im doing seems lame.

Warm ups for tri's and bi's with rope presses and dumbell curls

Barbell cammered bar with 25lbs on each side.

Barbell curls for 12 reps.

Giant set of 12 skull crushers, 12 pullovers and 12 presses.

started at 5:30 and ended at 6:15 Note: there was no rest between the bicep curls and heading to the tri's. Rested about 90 seconds between the exercises. No idea how many sets...just did it.

Need advice although my arms are growing :) If this sounds confused Im very woozy

Boom!
I prefer having a routine just for arms, and like higher volume as well... Your giant set is a fave of mine...

Solid work!

Thursday is usually shoulder day and Monday is usually chest day but things got thrown off.

The shoulder and arms days I have not been doing German Volume Training.

Today I started with standing Military presses

115x12
125x12
135x12
155x10
175x5
185x3
Made me sad cause I did much better last week on the seated Military Press.

Rear Delts with Cables

30lbsx20
30lbsx20
30lbsx20

Shrugs on a contraption thats supposed to be a bench press machine but is better suited for shrugs. My traps are unusually big and strong. The only genetic gift I can claim...i think.

On this gizmo I start with three 45's on each side x20 reps. Then I add 45 each side x 20 reps up to 250lbs on each arm.

Then we did a cool excercise that was a combo of a side raise and a front raise. Using 20lbs dumbells one arm goes up as a side raise the other arm goes up as a front raise...simultaneously. Hold at top twist torso so that it reverses and the arm that came up as side goes down as a front and the one that went up as a front goes down as a side. bout 10 resps of that for 3 sets.

Finished with dumbell raises from lying on the floor position. 25lbs x20 reps 3 sets.

Chest tomorrow

Nice work dude. Looks like a lot of volume on the presses.

Don't let the weight discourage you on standing over head press. Its much easier to go heavy on seated than standing.

My seated OHP is about 20 pounds more than my standing.

I have no clue why its like that though. You would think it would be the opposite because you have your feet under you instead of resting.

I was definitely going to hit on what turbo did. Seated is way bigger for me. Probably like 25 pound difference. You got in some nice work today brother!

I think it is harder because you have to balance your whole body (when standing) instead of just your upper body (when seated) and it takes a lot more strength to balance your whole body plus the weights you are overhead pressing, thus you have to go with lighter weights when standing.
