There is some confusion on scoring. They announced her the winner but I am waiting for clarification on it. The way they scored it isnt how we normally score and being a NAS contest they have to follow the official scoring. So unofficially I won. They actually announced it as a tie which confuses me even more.
As for events.
95 lb dumbell press x2 .25 pounds heavier than announced but I know better than to expect the weights to be as announced.
Husafell Stone 230 for distance. I learned a lesson on this one . I am not sure how far I went but at about 100 ft I stepped on my damn shoelace and untied my shoe. We were on mats and I slid off the mat. I put the stone down after that . Nothing is worth dropping 230 on my feet to me or tripping with it in my hands.
Axle dl 303 lbs got 7 reps and lost three because it was sliding out of my hands at the top . Again my goddamned grip as always needs work .
I flat rocked a 600 yoke. As they were setting my yoke height I put my belt on. Now i have lost weight since nationals and that is the last time I used my belt. Fear quickly set in as I realized the damn thing was set to tight. NO way I am doing a 600 yoke no belt, I had a trainer partner help me get it on just in time as they are screaming my name to get up there!
The stone was lighter than announced but they put the bar higher. as you can see I'm short . 4 or 5 reps with a 205 stone over 52 inch bar . My stones suck they will be worked alot this year .
Sweet! Congrats on your achievements RR! Hey, any chance we can see some pics or video of you at the Zumbathon? That's actually a pretty tough workout, but I look like a total retard shaking my moneymaker....
