Stats: 21 years old, 5'10 & 165lbs
Been working out for 3 years, but stopped for 8 months and now back at it!
Thanks for dropping by, this is my new log, and my first time doing actual program/routine.. Before it was just random shit i did lol.
this was suggested by my fellow broski PoB who said i should change up my routine and try the 5x5, looked into it and was very interested in trying it out. Big shout out to oldschool for laying out the basics for me and explaining to me how to start.
30 min before workout: Some creatine and amino essentials.
Saturday
Squats:
2 warm up sets with the barbell - 5x
115 x 5 for 5 sets, was quite easy.
Bench press:
2 warm up sets with the barbell - 5x
135 x 5 for 5 sets, also quite easy
Barbell rows:
just stretched a little
115 x 5 for 5 sets <- form was definitely not right, but was my first time doing it with the barbell.
Abs: Ab crunch machine
3 sets 8 reps @ 60lbs
Felt awesome after my workout.
Work out length: around 40 minutes.
Half a cup of oats and a shake right after.
