It's generally considered legal to purchase NON-scheduled pharmaceuticals on line (using a questioner to determine an "indication" justifying the writing of an RX) providing the quantity is for "personal use". Although the definition of personal use is vague, many attorneys believe a quantity limited to a 90 day supply or less would seem "reasonable".
Scheduled drugs are "probably" also fine if and only if accompanied by a prescription written by the examining physician.
Would Big Pharma have a stake in this sure but since the indictment is for scheduled substances their interest would seem somewhat limited
because, with a few exceptions, most scheduled drugs are available in a generic
form within the US.
