These are truly words of wisdom.....

I'm living proof. I'm now in art school after spending 12 years in the field playing in dirt with shovels and excavation equipment. Happy isn't a strong enough word to describe my current situation.

So with the new years resolution thread, it gave me an idea.

What is your dream job? Do you currently have it? Are you working towards it?

I'll start it off. My dream job is a commercial pilot, airline or cargo.

Second on the list is working as a crew member on a ship or tug boat.

So, what about everyone else?

How weird is that? I was an engineer at sea for 16 yrs and left that career to start a new one. Flying for a living, albeit helicopters not planes. Have been doing the offshore stuff for 8yrs and just about to start for a couple of billionaires, flying their corporate helicopter about. Guess it's a dream job in a way but once the company start spoiling it, it's no longer the fun it once was.

Haha, man small world huh?

Engineer, were you in the engine room?

Would love to take a helicopter lesson.

Its about 100 an hour to rent the plane, a helicopter is like 300!
