LightweightDustin Poiriervs.Justin Gaethje[a]
Light HeavyweightJan Błachowiczvs.Alex Pereira
LightweightTony Fergusonvs.Bobby Green
WelterweightMichael Chiesavs.Kevin Holland
WelterweightStephen Thompsonvs.Michel Pereira
HeavyweightDerrick Lewisvs.Marcos Rogério de Lima

This card rocks!

Poirer vs Gaethje is an incredible match. Both guys have lost 2x since the start of 2019. Both guys lost vs the 2 best in the division Oliveira and Khabib. Justin did loose to Poirer in 2018. This fight is HUGE for the division with Islam moving up to 170. Oh man i cannot wait!

Jan vs Pereira is also a banger. Jan's last losses were both hard fought grueling matches with Glover and Magomed. Pereira is untested at LHW. He will be of average size and not be way bigger than his opponent. I think Jan will win this one with grappling like he did Izzy and tire him out. How does Pereira come in at #2 in the LHW division after a loss and not competing in it?

Tony Ferguson vs Bobby Green: This is just a fight they put on the card to be good. Neither guy is even close to title contention. Tony is on a 5 fight slide while Green has lost 2 and a NC for a head clash. But should be fun to watch.

Cheisa vs Holland Both guys are 1-2 in their last 3. Cheisa is a grinder and Holland a striker that can be boring until it is not and it gets crazy. Maybe both guys can redeem themselves in fans eyes and put on a helluva show.

Wonderboy vs Michael Pereira What a match this is! Two guys with unconventional MMA striking base backgrounds...karate. Wonderboy is tough as nails and won his last but lost 2 before. Pereira won 5 in a row most of which vs lower level guys. This is a test for both. Wonderboy is past his prime and Pereira has not been tested like this. Wonderboy has cardio for days and Pereira has power and speed but fades. I am loving this match.

Lewis vs MRDL Black beast has only won 1 in his last 4. He is a fan fav and should weather another loss but he feels the heat. MRDL has not faced any kind of puncher like Lewis. I hope it's a banger with a good ole HW KO.

There are more fights as this card does not seem to have prelims. they are not separated

Great card! Top to bottom, can’t wait to see how Pereira performs at LHW.

Yea, the co-and-main event fights are solid, or at least interesting, as in the case of Pereira/Jan. I guess we'll see where Pereira stands in the division. Both guys have heavy hands, so it could end quickly for each guy. I think i'm going with Jan as well....decent enough standup, and he has a heavy ground advantage, imo.

Gaethje/Poirier should be epic. Both guys have got better since the first fight. I can't wait for this fight. I could see Gaethje throwing in the towel if he loses. If he wins, then I can see a rubber match down the road at some point. It might depend on how each guy performs obviously.

I really like the Wonderboy/Michel Pereira fight. I would have this fight as the one to go before the co-main event, personally. I like the stylistic match-up in this fight with both guys super crazy on the feet. If Michel starts going crazy, I can see him to fade and play into WB's advantage. WB is also more calculated despite doing movements that can tire you out...his cardio is better, imo.

I really have no interest in Ferguson/Green. I hope it is at least a good fight. Man, if Ferguson loses, I hope he finally retires.

The Chiesa/Holland fight I can't add anything to. Hopefully it has some action.

Should be a great night of fights. Solid card from start to finish.
Definitely looking forward to Poirer vs Gaethje. Both these guys are beasts in the ring. Both have gotten better since they last met, hoping to see a great fight.

@Bigtex you have any links for this one?:p:cool::)

I usually use Icelz, but they've been kind of messing around on what type of IP you use outside the USA. The ones you listed prior worked great!

  • Fight of the Night: No bonus awarded.
  • Performance of the Night: Justin Gaethje, Derrick Lewis, Bobby Green, and Kevin Holland
Great night of very technical action!

Justin vs Poirier Dustin had the bigger shots but Gaethje was more active. He set that big shot up perfectly.

Pereira vs Jan could have gone either way. Jan was so exhausted. I think it was so close if he had just gave one last effort in the last round and did some damage with his TD he could have pulled it off. But he just held on.

Lewis vs de Lima WOW, that flying knee and GNP got Black Beast a win with a bonus. Good for him.

Green just tuned Ferguson up, hit him at will and finished him with a sub. Tony just does not have it and I was just glad he did not get smashed and badly damaged...again.

Man Kevin Holland just walked through Chiesa. Chiesa has a good gig commentating like Paul Felder. Holland looked awesome and took zero damage.

Yea, I can't add much more.

That 1st round of Poirier/Gaethje was so close, i'd have to watch it 5x to really analyze who won. Same with the 2nd....until that kick. Man, I was reading before the fight some people talk about how Poirier messes with his shorts non-stop during a fight. I didn't really take notice of it at the time, but HOLY HELL, what is the deal with that? Every 2 seconds he was grabbing them. Did he wear the wrong shorts? His okie tan was bothering him? or is it just a habit? I have a friend who is a pro boxer, a young kid, and he was undefeated up until a few years back. He finally got his first loss because he went down to adjust his shorts and the opponent just happened to throw a perfectly timed punch at the same time and KO'd him, lol. It was on ESPN too, lol. I kept having that image in my head the whole time with Poirier:eek: I look forward to a possible rubber match with these guys down the road. Poirier deserves a title shot now, imo. I think he has reached a new level with his fight game and improved greatly over the past few years. Although, I had him losing to Fiziev in his last fight, but Fiziev is so high impact in all his moves that he faded and Justin got stronger and picked him a part after that. Anyway....whether it's Oliveira or Mahkachev, I think that should be his next fight.

Same with me mon the Jan/Pereira fight. I thought Pereira did just enough in that 3rd round to get the nod. I thought if Jan did at least 'some' GnP he would have stole it, but he just layed on him. It was a pretty lackluster fight to me. I think both Jiri and Jamahal Hill will beat Pereira at this point. It's hard to say though due to styles winning fights. The lightweight division is kind of in shambles imo, it's not anywhere near where it used to be outside of a few guys. We need some up-and-comers.

Lewis effin' stole the show. I'm not sure how anybody could not like this guy!!! His flying knee was so damn epic, lol! He puts people in seats, and he has KO power. I hope the UFC resigns him back. He was in much better shape this fight. I think if he lost, he'd have not been resigned, but he won in about the best fashion you could with a contract negotiation coming up.,

Tony needs to just flat out retire. IMO, the UFC needs to put their foot down. Green is a great fighter, but not close to the top in the 155# division, and he convincingly beat Tony. Tony is a very weird guy!

I always like watching Holland fight, I feel he screwed himself when fighting both Khamzat and Wonderboy. He went for that handshake and Khamzat just got hold of him and well, that put the whole fight in Khamzat's favor. He tried to beat WB at WB's own game, and that almost will never work for anybody. If he would have took WB down and mixed it up, he could have possibly won. ***I HOPE he stays in the Welterweight division.

**************************************************************************************

Did you guys watch the undercard? It was pretty damn good!

Bonfim is for fukking real! Man, I can't wait to see him fight more guys in higher rankings. he is demolishing everybody in his path. I'm pretty excited to see how it goes for him. Hopefully they give him another fight soon because he hasn't taken any damage, like ever from what I remember.

Vergara/Salvador was a great standup fight. I thought it was funner to watch than they were discussing. I've seen WAY worse fights.

Kopolov is getting better with each fight. Should be interesting to see how it goes for him as he faces better opponents. He needs to take his time and not rush to the top. Get some more fights and experience in before calling out a top 2 guy, LOL!!! He is fun to watch though.

Yeah watched them, amazing sub Bonfim pulled. Do not let that guy get near your neck!

Kopolov vs Ribeiro was a good technical fight. I thought Ribeiro was starting to find his range and BOOM head kick

HAHAHA! Bro that is why I do not bet. I just loose $
