Tips and tricks to save time with food prep

Whenever I'm making the basics and sauces I will double and freeze so I only have to make some noodles or rice... This primarily helps with the families food, but when you are the only cook it helps exponentially!
I also keep all the basics at work, just the same as home, I don't have to pack anything I just go and eat!
