Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish?

Im going to Ecuador and need to learn spanish in the next 9-10mo. Has anyone used this? Does it work? Is it worth the money?

Try that or go on craigslist and get yourself a cheap tutor for one day a week. It all depends on how you soak it all up. I prefer a live person but Rosetta Stone is great for picking up works and phrases.

Don't waste your money. That kinda thing is ok for a handfull of words but remember, when they talk to you in real life they're gonna be speaking a lot quicker and with an accent. If you've got the money to spend, spend it on a personal tutor.

I use Rosetta Stone for German... and if you take 30mins a day and watch some youtube clips in the language you pick things up faster than youd think.
