Would oly shoes help her? Have you tried the plates under the heel or does that make it worse?

That makes it worse. She almost kinda does better with no shoes at all. Her problem is she has no strength in her ass, hams and low back and SHITLOADS of strength in her quads. That's how I wound up with box squats. get some speed going and at the same time teach her to basically do a leg curl to get up rather than a leg press.

Nice log title! Put a smile on my face.

Sometimes the best intentions...... well you know how it goes.
Its hard training our weak points, having to learn or worse relearn how to do things.
Your intentions are good, not sure about your approach lol Hopefully Hips will give it some more thought.

Like the plate monopolizing Leg Pressin.

Have her start doing Hip Thrust or Glute Bridges. They have helped me and my wife on Squats. For me to be able to Squat ass to the grass. I have to be well warmed up. Sometimes I really have to start off with some light weights. I have heard that some women b/c of how there Hip bones are. Need to take a wider stance and point there toes out a little. Never seen your Wife so I wouldn't know. Have her do a squat with just the bar and go Full ROM. Just keep adjusting till she is comfortable with the motion and your happy with the form.

Doing Leg press after Squats is a Killer Workout as well. Nice work there.

Thanks guys... I ran SST a program put together by BrotherIron. It was heavy on accessory stuff. GHR's, good mornings, glute bridges etc... Maybe a better choice than westside for her.

ALL women have the hip bone issue. Our hips run at an angle where as mens are straight up and down. Even my oly squat is a bit wider and toes pointed out.

She started pushing it today... I reminder her she is logging her training now after her first set of dumbbell presses when she says maybe I should go get the 40's (adding 10lbs from the previous set).

I also started helping her work on a better bench set up. And I did it gently with no yelling or forcefulness at all :)
