My New Pup

This is Booker. He’s a 15-week-old Boerboel. It’s a South African Mastiff breed. They are bred to kill lions and have the strongest bite force of any dog on record (up to 800 psi). He’s our third one. The first two died pretty young, at 5 and 4.

He’s a prince. Right now he’s about 40 pounds and he will go to about 160.

Lion issues in your state? My friend has a pack of ridgebacks that were bred lion hunters as well. Kill the shit outta any coyote that comes for his chickens. Kills his chickens sometimes too.

Haha. I actually have two friends that are professional lion hunters. They’re great dogs though. Our first one was very kid friendly. The second one not as much but still a friendly dog.
