That’s cool! Thanks for sharing. I’m Glad to see they are studying nutrition and it’s affect on the body. I wonder what a human dosage would be.

Did a plaque scan due to having HCM and gotta say I didn’t enjoy it. Lol.

If increasing it is good for breaking down plaque buildup wouldn't that speak to people that live in Massachusetts would have completely clear arteries?? I know that's a stretch but what is considered unsafe versus therapeutic?

Iron-rich foods or supplements have been shown to lower your absorption of manganese. Phosphorus and calcium may also decrease your retention of manganese, but at a lower amount compared with iron.

So most of us on here since we probably have iron rich diets would have to take an increase for a therapeutic dose

Too much iron is bad for men. If you eat meat5 you have enough. Too much can quickly lead to hemochromatosis.
