This is messed up. First of all............... if you were not packing a gun, why the hell would you confront a 300# naked bodybuilder in front of your house??????????????? LOL.....................im mean thats just freakin crazy! Or stupid. The kid was obviously over indulging in his recs. He probably could have been delt with from the car, thats what your cell phone is for dummy.



COLTON, Calif. (AP) — Police say a naked, 300-pound bodybuilder savagely beat a Southern California couple at their home, leaving them in critical condition.

The Sun of San Bernardino (Colton couple attacked by naked man still hospitalized - San Bernardino County Sun ) says 22-year-old Ruben Arzu apparently was under the influence of steroids and other drugs, and it took four police officers, two stun gun blasts and four sets of handcuffs to restrain him.

Police say the couple came home late Saturday to find Arzu naked on the front porch of their home in Colton.

When Arzu was confronted by the 35-year-old husband, police say the bodybuilder attacked the man, causing major head trauma.

The man's wife called 911. Police say Arzu then picked her up and threw her around, causing facial injuries and multiple cuts to her head.

Arzu was booked on suspicion of attempted homicide.

This was on the radio today. The police said that when they encounter someone like this it's usually the result of alcohol or amphetamines. The radio news guy of course then chimes in "or steroids"

Just to play devil's advocate real quick, let's look on the flip side.

You're a cop, and you have to arrest a 22 year old who's on some sort of methamphetamine or pcp trip. Would you rather him be built like PeeWee Herman or Lou Ferrigno? The steroids had nothing to do with him being naked and tripping on someone else's porch, but they certainly had something to do with needing a dozen officers, multiple stun guns, and four sets of handcuffs to arrest him. The cops were probably trying to save some face by mentioning the steroid fact to the press.

Leave it up to the press to imply that being "under the influence of steroids" contributed to his psychotic break from reality.

Just b/c the perception of the one dealing with the situation is that, it doesn't make it a logical perception. It's just a perception.
