Z is a stud. He needs to drop some pounds though.

Those extra pounds have helped him. You can't be a good strongman if you're not over 300lbs. Look at how his strength has increased with his size. I would agree with your statement if he wasn't winning but the lifts are getting heavier and he's still setting records. I don't think he's reached diminishing returns yet.
