I read a study before that showed whey isolates that are micro-filtered as being the highest quality. Something about the filtration process preserving more of the amino or protein chain. IsoFlex is the only one I know of that is micro-filtered. Does anyone know of other brands?

Micro-filtered isolate leaves the nucleotides which are responsible for many of the health promoting things associated with whey. (besides just the protein). These are lost in ion-exchange process.

Whey concentrates still have these as well, but they also contain more lactose...etc. While those looking to limit carb intake often turn to isolates, if you are not restricted in carbs, concentrates offer the same benefits often at a cheaper price point.

Currently using Nutroboics Protien 25g per scoop 71 scoops for $45, Strawberry, Last two 7 lbs tubs was chocolate Isopure $78 but thats cause the distributor is a friend of mine its usually $100. I really like the Isopure when dieting, basically nothing in it maybe 4g carbs, but 29g of protein per scoop.

The only way I can get down a protein drink is Isopure in the glass bottles. I guzzle 3 or 4 a day and I can see a difference.

I use Trutein and nothing else. It's a whey, egg and caseine blend that tastes great and makes great pancakes to boot.
