what bothers me here is it's only been a half hour or so since I stumbled upon that concept out there on the Net. BUT, cannot for the life of me remember what I was looking for originally ..... or why. When I googled, there's dozens of links available, reputable stuff from webmd, johnshopkins, etc. Turns out this was done first in veterinary medicine and has gradually been gaining acceptance recently in human medicine. They have to administer the donation differently to alpacas than to horses, btw.
