Thanks...and no...I've tried and failed repeatedly whenever experimenting with RPE...Mondays follow a typical progressive overload...hit a certain number of reps, and increase by 10lbs the following week while subtracting a rep...

so without over complicating it, every 4 weeks cycles from a top set of 6 reps, down to 3 reps during the 4th week for each lift...if the top set is successful I add 10lbs, If I miss by 1-2 reps, I overload, and the following week I add 5lbs instead, similar to my recent run in with 2ct Bench...every new cycle starts off 10lbs heavier than the last for each lift...I've also experimented with both load drops and rep drops sets following the top set...

this is all still very experimental and obviously may not be viewed by most as productive long term...but by decreasing overall volume and simply focusing on a given set, I've seen nothing but improvement overall...I was always under the impression that volume for natural lifters such as myself work best, but most programs I have tried that incorporate anything over a 3 x 5 day as it's most volume, have never helped, only set me back...I have a lot of "tweaking" to do to the overall "program", especially my 3rd session of each week more than any, and hopefully I find time to correct most of the negatives and continue to improve...

I genuinely love lifting weights, and try my best to take in as much information as possible from like minded past and present lifters...
