thats what i usually get asked by the officers and crossfitters in my unit, so i figured i would start a log named that way.
a little about me, i have been lifting for a little under 6 yrs, while i was in afghanistan i decided to do a powerlifting meet, first meet was feb 2010. i am 37 yrs old.
now i am back in iraq, have done 5/3/1 for a year and decided to try and mix it up a little ( so, according to wendler- i am not doing 5/3/1 anymore :p)
this week is my last week before deload
yesterday- bench
290x5
330x3
365x5
today- deadlift
415x5
470x3
520x3
tomorrow is an off day from weights, so thursday is military press day, the plan is
175x5
195x3
220x (7)
i do these standing and clean the weight to my shoulders at the start of the set.
after deload, i will start the second trial of my cycle

I think that's for the deadlift.Still real strong with the lifts posted.Think i'll be doing the 5x5 starting Monday,see how that works.

had to reset the squat a few weeks ago due to events over here

ht 6'1'' bwt 260-ish

today- 4 aug 2011 i went to the little gym here on camp delta ( the big one is shutting down). and in between people complaining the ac isnt strong enough - its only 125 outside- this is what i done.
military press- bar on floor, clean to shoulders to start set
175x5
195x5
220x8- push press 5 more

bent laterals
40x10
45x10
50x10
dips- bodyweight
32/27/25/16
tomorrow is squat day, then 2 off days and deload next week

the goal was 4, but i felt like i could do 5, so i did. 6- didnt go so well, lol
wasnt able to do any assistance work, had to leave in a hurry ( deployment stuff)
maybe this weekend i will post what i have done to "bastardize" 5/3/1
