A nurse who moonlights as a clothing designer has been charged with importing steroids into the country.

Jason Mark Eggleston, 37, has been charged with five offences, official with the Canada Border Services Agency confirm. They say Eggleston has allegedly been importing anabolic steroids and their derivatives into Canada to traffic. Steroids are considered a controlled substances under the federal Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

According to his Facebook profile, Eggleston is a registered nurse at St. Boniface General Hospital, as well as the owner and president of X2X Clothing Canada, which lists a mailing address on Henderson Highway. The company caters clothing to bodybuilders and “fitness enthusiasts.”
