I agree Mike. These photos are from the 1983 Olympia. I would even say Samir had one of the greatest backs all time. Dorian and Heath are up there in that list.

Up until Samir's showing at that year's Olympia, no one saw a Christmas Tree like that at any previous contests. I remember buying the Muscle and Fitness with the 83' Olympia coverage and was blown away by Samir's back. I was 15 at the time. It still blows me away, lol.
No synthetic GH most likely, no insulin, etc
