Whole Foods Pizza

Anyone else love this stuff? It's always a frenzy when they put a new pie out, and they can't cook them fast enough to keep the buffet stocked with all the online orders. But tonight, I took the last two slices of cheese that were left after they shut down. I'm not too proud. It's the best pizza around here anyway.

I do not even know where a whole foods is. I thought it was just a hippie dippie place for vegetarians and vegans to get way overpriced "organic" stuff. They have pizza you say...?

They have a full deli and maybe three full buffets full of cooked food (one is soups, though). The pizza bar is a separate, smaller counter against the wall next to the sushi. The one here used also to make sandwiches here, but the "pandemic" made everyone lazy. Guess they didn't want to resume doing it.

Hit it up in the morning when they are serving breakfast foods. Their bacon is the best I've had. Get there early, or you will be fighting other people. They will run out, and people will start to crowd around the bar. You can feel the competitive tension as you wait for them to cook another batch. You ask yourself "would I kill for this bacon?" Yes, you would.

Also, take lots of money.

Galaxial is a word, typically referring to the Milky Way. FD loves a cream filled center.

I haven’t had it in probably ten years or so, but thought it was pretty good. I felt like their toppings and cheese game was strong, as you would expect. Usually when I go to Whole Foods I’m all in on their seafood option. Overall though, I give Wegman’s the nod over WF.

Haha. That is what I thought. I have to drive 100 miles just to find one.

Looks like Wegman's isn't here, yet. We have a Sprouts, where I never go. Basically it's a smaller Whole Foods, but I will say they have very high quality produce.

Gotcha. I tend to like the seafood/meat departments in those places. Wegman’s claim to fame is take and bake - which I never buy. But the seafood department runs sales on King Crab, ya take home pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes, slice it all open with shears, and eat crab until you have the crab sweats…lol.
