Exactly what I was thinking. Bernie is bat shit crazy, but he doesn't lie about it.On another note, the Democrats are pathetic that these two are the best their party could come up with to run for the presidency.

Hillary plays dirty in a very cynical way. Bernie is naieve but honest. IMO Hillary is worse. But given the choice between Hillary or one of the fools in the Republican clown car of a primary, I would vote for Hillary and would not leave the country.

woods, I could resent you forever for stealing what I thought was MY line, but I guess it has been so obvious that we two are behind a zillion other observers in that regard. How poor RAIDEN, normally the brightest guy around, could have left himself wide open here is beyond me. Even with Sarah Palin in 2008, THIS is surely the silliest the Repubs have ever "offered" us.

Like I said, it's amazing how the democratic party is so out of touch and has moved so far left, that the party puts a lying felon and a self admitted socialist as the party's best candidates. JFK is rolling in his grave right now. Do we agree on this my friend?

Both parties have moved to the edge and are trying to elect buffoons, imo.

I agree, we have become a nation of extremists. There is no happy middle anymore. Hard to imagine any of this crew as a leader.
We need to bring back the none of the above ticket.

Hey guys I'm trying to solve an argument I'm having with an extreeeeeeeeemely liberal friend. The point of this thread is not to argue with you guys, but what I want to know is which of the democratic candidates you're more rabidly against.

As in, which one of the candidates would you hate the most if they win the election. Let me know. No judgment on my end; I'm just curious.

I must know what you consider ''extreeeeeeemely liberal friend'', serious question.

Far as who is the worst , they're both equally evil and miserable people. To me it's a moot question because they will both be the End of America, they're both evil shitbags. It's more of a question, with me, as to how fast and hard either one will bring America down.

I think Hillary is worse. Hillary is more conniving and secretive and can bold face lie better than anyone. Bernie strikes me as having wild ideas, but more willing to let the checks and balances of the system work, even when they are working against him.

I wish we were debating Joe Biden here too. Not that I think he is all that, but because this is a "lesser of the evils" type of debate.

This is interesting to me. Through out history, we have had steady sways of political eras. If you look at the industrial era, our country was pretty conservative, way more so than today, and our presidents were much more so as well. So in reality, are the current republicans really all that more conservative than those of the last 75 years? I would strongly argue no. We have had some eras of very liberal presidents too. I think many view today's conservatism as "extreme" because of how liberal many have become, as well as those in special interest groups to become more vocal, and, in some cases, the introduction of other special interest groups that would have never been tolerated in the past.

Not comparing conservatism with extremism. Look at our front runners though, Trump, extreme, Sanders, extreme. Monsoon, moderate.

i think bernie sanders is extremely liberal. democratic socialism in generalis extremely liberal. so anyone who is on boad with that is as far left as it gets.
