That a minimal effective dose approach to volume is superior to a maximum recoverable volume strategy (as everyone, myself included, overestimates their genetic endowment). That volume abhors strength & power adaptations. That CNS fatigue begins rapidly and nigh immediately. And that my early training vigor was harmful (30 hr average per week in the weight room) due to nonfunctional overreaching and monotonous overtraining. That the 500 mg test first cycle & 350 mg tren first cycle wisdom is anything but wise. Basically, I've shifted my approach from trying to maximize (and overdoing shit) to trying instead to optimize.

Don’t ego lift, get your form right of pay for it later!
I had to blow my left shoulder doing seated overhead presses with 270 before learning this. Tearing my bicep doing preacher curls with 180 didn't do it. Later ripped my triceps and lat doing chin-ups with a 100 lb plate hanging off me.
