Why does everyone have a boner for Beverly? The ingredient list isn't that clean. In fact, it's really not that good at all. I see the same set of cheap ingredients like maltodextrin (GMO corn, in other words) and others the same as so many other protein powders.

I use the Beverly UMP (any flavor is good, cookies and cream my fav). Beverly Muscle Provider is their whey isolate that I’ll use for post workout

UMP mixes well with oats for a meal #1
I forgot about Beverly. That was my go to for a long time. Their entire line is good.

For me it’s the taste and how it sits in my belly. It mixes “thicker” and is easy to drink.
Some of the others are “fluffy and foamy an will gas me up or air my belly up

For price I always just figure it’s going to be 40-50 dollar range for a 2lb tub.
Ends up being like 3$ and some change for 40g pretty cheap for what things are costing now days.

Fair question. For me, the UMP just tastes better than the other stuff I've tried. When you're taking in a protein shake or two every day you don't want it to taste like ass.

I know you hard core guys take pride in eating/drinking things that taste crappy, but I'm at a stage in my life where I've gone soft. I'll compromise and take quality protein that actually tastes good so that I'm more apt to be consistent. LOL

Lastly, in the past I've been a regular user of their Ultra40 (desiccated beef liver tablets) and Mass Aminos. Also, while I don't think that glutamine is magic, they do have a nice product that combines glutamine with BCAAs and it works well in an intraworkout mix. So I just got in the habit of ordering all my stuff through them. Was just easier.

True Nutrition Whey Concentrate.
True nutrition really has a nice stable of proteins for just about anybody. Egg protein, vegan source protein, etc. If you can't find what you're looking for there, I think it's you! LOL It's my understanding that's Dante's company, and they manufacture product for lots of the various supplement companies that then slap their label on the final product.

I try to get most of my protein through food, but I have been using 1UP protein to supplement. Not really sure if it is the cleanest protein, but I like the flavors and taste. I've tried the strawberry shortcake ice cream. 25 grams of protein to 6 grams of carbs. But the taste is great.

I wonder if I've overplayed my sensitivity to some of these ingredients. I've had an MRT done, and it showed an extreme sensitivity to corn, which also means anything made from corn... which is a LOT. But one scoop is what.. just 30g? I'm also sensitive to sunflower and soy, both of which are common as lecithins. Right now, I'm using Mutant ISO, which is fairly clean but still has a few adds like silicon dioxide, guar gum, potassium citrate (can be made from corn), etc. But I don't seem to react to it. No bloat or other issues. Now if I eat corn stuff or anything else in abundance, I definitely have more inflammation the following day, which normally is Sunday after my cheat meal. But 30g of protein powder once a day doesn't seem to cross the threshold. I might try Beverly and see if my gut does even better on it since the lack of bloat seems to be a commonly described benefit.

Been using ON Gold Standard Chocolate (from Costco) for years now. It's ok, nothing special, haven't tired from the taste yet.
Lately, I've been getting most of my protein in shake form from Animal Meal. I use that because I'm lazy and want a solid 500 calories of food-like replacement. Never a digestion issue and easy to pound down so it's great for me to keep the total daily calories and macros up.
