I have yet to do trt through a doctor ... but trying to learn how to play the doctor game for the eventual time when I do.200mg/week Cyp. My endo does bloods the day before my shot and the day after. Around 500 before and about 1000 after. This is pinning just once a week, I plan to start splitting it up to 2x/wk.
We talked about it for more stable levels. Getting on prescribed TRT is really the hard part, once you're there, adjusting the dose and frequency is different for everyone and you have to make changes and retest until you find what you feel best on and the doc agrees with the blood work. I'm not sure I'll be telling the doc when I blast. I'll likely just time the blast where I cruise long enough before my next round of bloods.I have yet to do trt through a doctor ... but trying to learn how to play the doctor game for the eventual time when I do.
Does your doctor know about your 2x week plan? Seems like your before/after bloods will be different from what he's used to seeing, even with the same weekly total dose ... how will that go next time you see him?
The “game” will change with the doc. I’ve dealt with both ends of the spectrum… have a middle of the road guy right now… just right. He will listen I can be honest with him without any fears of losing a script. (Scripts aren’t hard to get- competent docs are). Most are ignorant.. the others just want money and will give you anything. Find the middle guy.I have yet to do trt through a doctor ... but trying to learn how to play the doctor game for the eventual time when I do.

TY. Got any views on Endos vs. normal docs? The “game” will change with the doc. I’ve dealt with both ends of the spectrum… have a middle of the road guy right now… just right. Probably increased activities of excretory procsses. These things get glucuronated and sulfonated to prepare them for excretion through the urine. also they are conjugated for removal trough the bile duct system in the liver. I speculate that as we progress down the road of their use upregulation of these processes occurs as the body adapts to their use. That's pretty bad. One thing I've noticed for myself is I have had to increase my dose over the years to keep the same level of Test. Not sure if that's just an effect of actually using the extra (more muscle/receptors) or some kind of androgen resistance. Curious what @Glycomann thinks.
