What food gives YOU the most energy?

The title says it. i hear alot that slow burning carbs and Protein is good for energy. Protein with slow carbs make me tired. anything sugary makes me feel like shit.

Greasy salty mcdonalds makes me feel amazing. idk how or why but ill eat the shitty processed mcdoubles and mcchickens and have great energy for a workout.

So what does it for you dudes? im interested to hear how many mixed oppinnions there are about this.

I've always had great workouts after having a tub of strawberries. Makes no sense but that is my food.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are the preffered source of energy before training ;).

I loves me some PB&J. I also love PB and honey as well! Add a half of a banana if you need extra carbs/calories and/or potassium.

The night before my heavy day I shit load... means a pizza and anything else I want. Before I lift I eat chicken thighs, quinoa, wallnuts, and craisins (1.5hr before)
