I'm not sure if there's another post about this, so bare with me if I double posted.

With the sheer dismantling of country right before our eyes, what do we do? How can we stand up to all this media propaganda? How do we squelch the stupid "movements" such as BLM?

Seems like such a simple question but a MUCH harder answer. My wife and I and our friends and family feel stuck. Our daughter is 3 and a half and we're scared shitless how this country will be when she's a little older.

I don't dive into political threads but as a Father of four fine young men, I share your concerns. My generation will probably be the first generation to hand off our nation in worse shape than we found it. As a Father I will offer you this advice; control her destiny until she is able to control it for herself. Give her the tools and foundation to make the right decisions when the time comes. Teach her that regardless what ever shitstorm she is dealt by our generation, she ultimately controls the outcome. Education will be her greatest tool.

Subway, and dammit I liked Subway. But with a spokesperson like Megan Rapinoe kneeling, I won't eat Subway. Pepsi is another conformist company. If this cancel culture wants to go after companies, consumers need to push back and show these chickenshit companies that they are no better than these woke dipshits that are pushing their agendas.

Everything is offensive anymore. But instead of the individual not using that service or product, these pussies band together in the name of greater good and reform. What happened to our freedoms and liberties? This is the problem. We are now at the mercy of this snowflake movement. It's everywhere. Everyone gets a trophy in youth sports. Businesses are stripped of any values or mission statement because it may offend someone. It's just gone too far.

I stopped going to Subway after the whole kiddie porn thing, having that miserable bizatch soccer player makes no difference besides making me not want to go there more.
Ben & Jerry's, nope, will rather have my kids and wife be pissed if that is the only ice cream around then give them another dollar.
Nike can suck a bag of dicks as well...

No absolutely no Nike and no Coke or Pepsi in my house currently. I try to teach my kid common sense and self reliance, and to also question everything she hears with an objective mind, especially from the media. "Why do you think they reported that in that way? They could have said it like this. See how it changes the apparent meaning when you remove all bias?" or all-to often "They are stating that as fact, when it is only theoretical and unproven with plenty of evidence on both sides."

U guys know I'm politically neutral, so my hope lies within what the scripts teach on it...

However, I'm a father of 3 beautiful young women and a grandfather of 2 (2yr and recently 2week old girls)...Education is the KEY!...I just received an email from my oldest yesterday, THANKING me for teaching her right and even admitted I was the ONLY one to do so!...Made my day to say the least!!!!...

It's been clear to me for a long time now what the solution is. Conversation has failed. Both sides no longer see each other as just people who have different priorities, opinions, world views, etc. News outlets on the right and on the left have Americans viewing the other side as monsters. As strange, criminal, sociopathic monsters intending to destroy their way of life and freedoms. The news outlets are hyping wedge issues and blowing everything out of proportion in an attempt so sow division. It's a great plan. It keeps everyone fighting each other over BS issues while the corporations and oligarchs drain the wealth of America out of America into the offshore accounts. Watch the one hand while the other hand does the trick.

There are only two ways to resolve political differences. Talk and violence. Talk has failed. Everyone is living in their silos now, never daring to consider the other guy's point of view. Never willing to compromise. Never considering the fact that maybe the other guy has a point. Maybe the other guy is right sometimes. No. The other guy is just a POS purposely attempting to destroy America. No talking to a POS.

Violence remains.

Personally I could care less anymore. America means nothing to me. Lines drawn on a map. Nothing more. If America shits the bed tomorrow I won't shed a tear.

It’s a losing battle to boycott companies / corps. Just shooting ourselves in the foot. Pretty much everything and anything we need and/or like is from China (so much for badmouthing China as well),and from companies/corps that ARE corrupt and/or back corruption (or at the very least, support things we’re generally opposed to ideologically).
Losing battle, we’re fucked. And it’s not just politicians and corps and globalists that have fucked us — As a culture of digression, WE’VE fucked ourselves as well.
We’ve been the snot nose spoiled cocky shit kid / country of the world for the longest time, and now it’s all catching up — the reckoning.
