Other than the standard shit? BUN Creatine and GFR.
All have been elevated for over 20 years and tired of doctors fucking with me. I have blood work next week and will take 3 days off from training before the test go in fully hydrated and fast for 12 hours.

My creatinine levels have been consistently high for 10 years. I decided to see a nephrologist who tested things other than creatinine . Unfortunately I can't remember what they looked at.

Not that you care, but they told me their preliminary assessment is that my high creatinine is not a sign of kidney failure, but instead is because I am muscular and because I eat a high protein diet. I have a follow up in another month and they will do a follow up blood test after I have been off creatine for over a month, to tell me whether they continue to believe I am not suffering early stage kidney failure.

My recommendation is, if you want an informed opinion, to see a nephrologist.

Good luck!

Cystatin C, if that is elevated (low eGFR) then pursue it further.
