A large amount of drugs and some weapons have allegedly been seized by police during a raid in Melbourne’s north.
Two search warrants were executed at a house in Beaumont Crescent, Lalor just after 9.30am on Friday, where police allegedly found weapons, steroids, drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.
Weapons and drugs, including 800 ecstasy tablets and ice, were also found in a car at the property, police say.
A 27-year-old Lalor man was arrested and has been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and weapons related offences.
He was due to face an out of sessions court hearing late on Friday where police will make application for remand.
