A few guys ( Brandon Lilly and Donnie Thompson) have already posted videos on Instagram....
The squat monster is back from Israel ! He had the all -time squat record in gear with a 1250 squat ( look for the video, he locks up 2" high snd just kinda shimmies down to depth like he's stretching out with 135) until Donnie broke it...... he destroyed his knee at Westside trying to squat 800 of bar weight with 600 in chain ... that's not a typo, 1400 pound combined weight..... got the knee rebuilt and went back to NY, now he comes back years later and absolutely crushes 1102 raw. The dude is incredible.

Saw the vid and he didn't struggle with it at all. Wonder how long before this record is broke.

Not sure whether to be more amazed by the lifter or the doctor. The 1400 was at Westside . . . . thinking that may be the best place to get an injury, combination of proximity to OSU plus contacts Louie has built up over the years?

Every week there's a meet and the bar just gets pushed higher and higher in PLing. It's nuts. 10 years ago, nobody in the world thought an 1100 lb raw squat was even humanly possible. I wonder if 1200 is possible?

With a knee replacement @porky little keg, I thought right? Not a rebuild?

In any event, this is absolutely nuts!

Probably! Jey Fry was talking about him sleeping on his couch after the knee reconstruction and fighting pain with just ibuprofen because he was so broke at the time........ the stuff of legends for sure

I think it's only a matter of time before someone pushes a raw squat to 1200. It's crazy.

That is out of this world impressive squat. Damn. I thought I was badass in the eighties when I squated 635lbs. Wow.
